All businesses need more customers. The more customers you have, the more cash flow you have coming in and more money to pay for your expenses and other business ventures.
No matter what happens, you’ll always need to be working day in and day out in your business towards the attainment of more customers. Many business owners get side tracked every single day when they are working in their business, they either get distracted by the latest software, project, person or opportunity.
By diversifying your efforts and avoiding the one thing that makes all the difference, you constantly move away from your main goal, which is income creation for your business.
So here we are.

I’ve decided to put together a list of business ideas that you can apply that will help you get more customers into your business.
They require some effort and some work but like all things in life, you must work hard towards your success, there are no short cuts.
Here’s my personal list of business ideas that you can use to help you generate more cash into your business.
1. Increase exposure online.
With the usage of the internet, we can find so many different ways in which we can find customers online. More and more people are using the internet to find things, research and purchase things online.
When you are researching something, you normally wouldn’t go to the library to find the information you want, you go to your computer and type in Google.com.
By utilizing your efforts online, you’ll be able to save lots of money in marketing dollars and also generate more profit into your business.
2. Use video.
Many people think that by only focusing on getting on the front page on Google will be the end all strategy, most of the time, it’s not. You need to create your own video and submit it to video search engines such as YouTube.
YouTube has literally become it’s own search engine, with millions of users under it’s service, creating useful video that’s found in YouTube, you’ll attract lots of traffic and interest into your brand.
3. Use social media.
Social media can be a double edged sword. You can use it for business purposes and thrive or you can use it for entertainment purposes and waste lots of time. You must be careful using social media for it’s become another form of “email” which requires your attention and time.
By creating a massive following on Twitter or Facebook, you can easily promote your products and services through it. By creating a nice picture banner advertising your product with a discount, you’ll be able to get people’s attention and they will respond. Social media is free and you should use this power.
4. Write a book.
Writing a book not only gives you credibility and the prestige of people knowing that you know something, it also acts as a business card. Let’s say that you’ve written a great book on business consulting and you’re an expert business consultant, by doing business with high profile companies, you give your book to these CEOs and you’ll stand out from the rest.
Not only you make money from your book, your book is a lot bigger than business cards and it usually sits in the CEO’s bookshelf for a long period of time and guess what? They remember you for a long period of time too!
5. Use business cards.
Don’t print out those standard sized business cards. Do something different, get a bigger one that stands out from the rest. Also make sure you have a call to action on your business card such as a free gift that they can download and register.
Most people won’t contact you after they’ve met you from a networking meeting but people are more likely to contact you if they receive something free or an incredible offer written on your business card.
Imagine if you had a line on your business card that says “75% discount on airfares around the world only available for the first 32 people who have received this card from Bob” If you handed out 100 cards, you’ll get a massive response rather than a business card that has your name, rank and serial number.
6. Network.
This one is an oldie but still a goodie. Always network with people. The more people you meet, the more opportunities will flow your way and customers too. Keep networking.
7. Create killer advertising copy.
Have you ever driven in your car and looked at those banner advertisements alongside the street and you had no idea what they were talking about? It could be a single picture of something and one fancy phrase.
Unfortunately, advertisements like that are simply made for brand awareness and not really made for response of customers. You need to learn how to write compelling sales copy that gets people to take action when they read it.
8. Build a managed database.
By creating a database of prospects and leads, you have a massive advantage over your competitors. If you have a list of 1,000 customers who know you and have bought from you, all you need to do is promote to that list and you’ve generated instant sales.
9. Joint ventures.
By connecting with people in your industry who have access to your ideal customers, you can form a win/win relationship. Seek out people who are willing to do business with you and want a split of the profit as well.
For example a dog training business may do a joint venture with a vet store, if the vet store refers customers to you, they receive 50% commission, if they don’t, they don’t receive anything. The dog training business and vet store doesn’t incur any expenses.
10. Platform speaking.
By becoming a platform speaker, you get to earn income from people who will pay you for what you know. Not only you earn money as a paid speaker, you also create more exposure and more people will know about you.
It’s never one strategy that brings in one customer, it’s all about applying multiple strategies to bringing in a customer. Diversity leads to stability.
Good journey.
