Income Report November 2012

I can’t believe it, the month of November passed by so quickly. Not only I celebrated my birthday next to the Mayon volcano in the Philippines, I’m now writing this blog entry all the way from Vietnam.

The past 7 days, I’ve been touring all of Vietnam from Hanoi and started cycling on a bike from Hue city to currently just past My Son province. Today I just finished cycling and completing my record of 94 kilometers! Next week, I would finish my Vietnam cycling tour in Ho Chi Minh city which would complete the North to South Vietnam tour.

These 7 days of cycling has really given me a lot of time to reflect on my life and where it’s going. I’ve also made some pretty interesting observations and learnt some amazing lessons this year as well which I’ll apply for next year.

Next year will be another great year for me, it will be bigger and better.

Okay so enough of my current life at the moment, let’s talk about my income report for November 2012.

I didn’t blog that month during this month. To be honest, I was so busy preparing for my cashflow workshop which was a huge success and everyone commented on how great it was. I’ll post photos of it later in another blog post. I also landed my very own TV show as well which is very exciting and of course, I’ll write about it in another blog post.

Yes I got lots of catching up to do.

The big difference for this month is that my passive income dropped quite a bit. Last month from what I remember, I made over $50 in passive income. In November, I made only $29.24 in passive income. Which was a 50% drop in passive income.

There are many reasons why this could happen. During the month of November, people are beginning to focus on vacations, finishing business deals, finalizing things before the end of the year. Therefore, most businesses are waiting till the end of the year before that start advertising their services, hence the Google Adsense income earnings would drop.

Also, traffic dropped slightly as well. This could be because of my lack of blogging. Perhaps because I stopped blogging for a few months, the website was seen as “not maintained” therefore Google may have penalized the site. I’m not to sure about this one but I’ll continue testing it.

I’ve also read reports of people who have been blogging for years BUT there were a few months were they didn’t blog at all and they still generated tons of passive income anyway. So who knows, i’ll continue investigating this one.

I also managed to sell a few of my products through this website as well which is good. Not bad for a project started 8 months ago.
